Article 1

The Member States are hereby authorised to ratify the Seafarers' Identity Documents Convention, adopted on 19 June 2003.

The text of the Convention is attached to this Decision.

Article 2

This Decision is addressed to the Member States in accordance with the Treaty establishing the European Community.
