Article 1

The Agreement between the European Union and Montenegro on operational activities carried out by the European Border and Coast Guard Agency in Montenegro (the ‘Agreement’), is hereby approved on behalf of the Union 16 .

Article 2

The Commission shall, on behalf of the Union, notify Montenegro, as provided for in Article 22(1) of the Agreement in order to express the consent of the Union to be bound by the Agreement.

Article 3

This Decision shall enter into force on the day of its adoption 17 .
