Article 1

The Agreement between the European Union and the Republic of Albania on operational activities carried out by the European Border and Coast Guard Agency in the Republic of Albania (the ‘Agreement’), is hereby approved on behalf of the Union 17 .

Article 2

The Commission shall, on behalf of the Union, notify the Republic of Albania, as provided for in Article 22(1) of the Agreement in order to express the consent of the Union to be bound by the Agreement.

Article 3

This Decision shall enter into force on the day of its adoption 18 .
