Article 1

The position to be taken on the Union’s behalf in the meetings of the Extended Commission of the Convention for the Conservation of the Southern Bluefin Tuna (CCSBT) is set out in Annex I of this Decision.

Article 2

The year-to-year specification of the Union’s position to be taken in the meetings of the Extended Commission of the CCSBT shall be conducted in accordance with Annex II.

Article 3

The Union’s position set out in Annex I shall be assessed and, where appropriate, revised by the Council upon a proposal from the Commission, at the latest for the annual meeting of the Extended Commission of the CCSBT in 2029.

Article 4

Decision (EU) 2019/824 is repealed.

Article 5

This Decision is addressed to the Commission.
