Article 1
The signing, on behalf of the Union, of the Protocol (2024-2029) implementing the Fisheries Partnership Agreement between the European Community and the Republic of Cabo Verde (‘the Protocol’) is hereby authorised, subject to the conclusion of said Protocol.
The text of the Protocol is attached to this Decision.
Article 2
Pending its entry into force, the Protocol shall apply on a provisional basis in accordance with Article 17 thereof, from 20 May 2024, subject to signature, or from the date of signature if it is signed after that date.
Article 5
This Decision shall enter into force on the day following its adoption.
