[5] The countries participating in the EBF in 2007-10 are the Member States of the EU except the United Kingdom and Ireland, and the Schengen associated states Iceland, Norway and Switzerland. Liechtenstein contributes to the EBF but does not take part. The Associated States, Bulgaria and Romania joined the EBF in 2010.
