COM-nummer - Main contents

COM is one of the possible codes assigned to documents from one the most important series of publications issued by the European Commission. COM-documents can be legislative proposals, documents relating to legislative processes, communications, reports, recommendations, white papers and green papers.

Unofficially, when dealing with legislative proposals, the COM-number is used to desginate the entire dossier, which includes the original proposal and documents subsequently released by various actors as part of the formal legislative proces.
