Regulation (EC) No 1925/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 20 December 2006 on the addition of vitamins and minerals and of certain other substances to foods (2) aims at regulating the addition of such substances to food and establishes the list of vitamins and minerals that may be added to food. Council Directive 2001/114/EC (3) should therefore be amended to allow the addition of vitamins and minerals as provided for by Regulation (EC) No 1925/2006.
