New generations in the political arena

At the beginning of April a new initiative has been presented: the G500. This project was set up in order to give youngsters a stronger voice in politics. Do they really need to have a stronger voice? Why wouldn’t they be able to realize this within the existing political parties? Is the ‘generational movement’ of the G500 a serious alternative? Aren’t there already enough ways for youngsters to be politically active?

A debate about new generations in the political arena.

On May 25, Sywert van Lienden (co-founder of the G500), Pieter Guldemond (alderman in Delft for engineering students in politics) and representatives of different political youngster organizations discussed this topic.

This event was held in Dutch.
