Dutch Senate President, in visit to Bucharest - Main contents
The President of the Dutch Senate, Fred de Graaf, will pay a visit to Bucharest, on February 21-23, at the invitation of his counterpart, Crin Antonescu, the Dutch Embassy informs in a press release.
As well, this week, Bucharest will be visited by Mark Verheijen, member of the Dutch Parliament representing the VVD party (Liberal) and Hans van Baalen, a member of the European Parliament. Verheijen has scheduled meetings until Feb. 19 with representatives of the Government, of the Dutch business community and will visit a Dutch company.
According to the quoted source, the guest will be also received by President Traian Basescu and will meet with the Chamber of Deputies Speaker, Valeriu Zgonea. At the same time, Fred de Graaf has scheduled a meeting with members of the Committee on Foreign Affairs and European Affairs of both Houses of Parliament.
The Dutch officials will have talks with Deputy Premier Liviu Dragnea, the Dutch Senate President's program also containing a visit to the National Center for Command and Control of the General Inspectorate of Border Police.
Hans van Baalen will be in Bucharest on February 21-22, to address the PNL Congress, in its opening, as President of the Liberal International.
