The Dutch Constitution: Beacon or Ballast?

Does the constitution provide a safe framework or does it oppose necessary inovation? These questions were discussed at the symposium organised by the Montesquieu Institute and the National Committee for 200 years Dutch Kingdom.

Four scientist provided a introduction from their own area of expertise. Politician Erst Hirsch Ballin gave a reflection on the theme and afterwards the discussion started. Gerdi Verbeet was the chairman for this symposium.
