European Year for Development Days across Member States

Many Member States are currently celebrating their European Year for Development Day. I wanted to share my article on this (published in the 'World's Best News' magazine - link below):

This is our moment. We live in truly exciting and important times. With the European Year for Development now in full swing across the European Union, 2015 is also a decisive year for the rest of the world.

Key decisions will shape our common future.

Two of the most important events will be the September UN summit to set Sustainable Development Goals for 2030, and the Climate Change Summit in December to stop catastrophic Climate change.

I hope that, as we conclude the European Year for Development, EU citizens will continue to seize this unique opportunity to take action.

This is our moment to raise our voices, make poverty history, and protect our planet.
