Back to Gaziantep for the second time. To evaluate the needs on the ground, to discuss with our partners and to express the EU's solidarity.

I visited Gaziantep for the second time. I went back to reaffirm the European Union's solidarity. To the refugees. To the host communities. To the people and government of Turkey.

I have been on the ground to assess the needs and to express our deep appreciation for the good work our partners are doing.

I had the opportunity to discuss with our partners a wide range of issues. But especially the current state of play, the current challenges, the new needs and how to respond to them.

No country and no community alone can face the gravity of the refugee crisis. Working together is a precondition to address the needs effectively.
