ALDE Party Bureau meets for the first time - Main contents
The new ALDE Party Bureau elected at the end of last year at the ALDE Party Congress in Warsaw, Poland, met for the first time in 2017 on Tuesday 7 February at the ALDE Party HQ in Brussels.
During the meeting, the Bureau evaluated the 2016 Warsaw Congress, exchanged views on preparation for 2019 European Parliament elections and discussed applications for individual membership. The Bureau was also informed about the ALDE Party key events and elections in 2017.
The ALDE Party Bureau consists of Hans van Baalen MEP (VVD, The Netherlands) as President; Henrik Bach Mortensen (Venstre, Denmark), Timmy Dooley TD (Fianna Fail, Ireland), Fredrick Federley MEP (Center Party, Sweden), Luis Garicano (Ciudadanos, Spain), Ilhan Kyuchyuk MEP (MRF, Bulgaria), Markus Löning (FDP, Germany), Angelika Mlinar MEP (NEOS, Austria), Marta Pascal MP (CDC, Catalonia, Spain) and Baroness Ros Scott (Liberal Democrats, United Kingdom) as Vice Presidents; and Gašper Koprivsek (SMC, Slovenia) as Treasurer.
