The Hürriyet Daily News has written an article about Kati Piri’s concerns about the corruption at the Bulgarian border. Turks living in Europe report long queues and bribes that have to be paid at the border control. Kati Piri, with Kathleen van Brempt of the SP.A, has submitted a report to the European Commission. Together they will hand the report to the Sofia government, which will take over the rotation of the presidency of the Council of the European Union in January 2018.
