Debate: EU heading towards 2019: MFF, brexit and EP elections - Main contents
These are turbulent times for Europe. In May 2018, the Juncker Commission presented the Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) 2021-2027. It meant the start of negotiations among the member states on the EU finances and priorities. Meanwhile the brexit deadline and the elections to the European Parliament - both in the Spring of 2019 - come closer and closer. What are the EU's priorities in these times and who is paying? What role does the Netherlands play?
Adriaan Schout, Frits Lintmeijer, Anne Mulder and Tomas Vanheste participated in the debate on Wednesday 4 July 2018. The debate was led by Kees Boonman.
