Het AFP schrijft: “Ghost-like, Silicon Valley has turned Europe’s economies upside down, but often with just a skeleton staff and some office space in markets with millions of users or customers.” Uit onderzoek van Paul Tang blijkt dat Frankrijk 781 miljoen euro en Duitsland 889 miljoen euro mist aan belastingopbrengsten van Google en Facebook tussen 2013 en 2015.
