Article 1

The Cooperation Agreement between the European Union and its Member States, of the one part, and the Principality of Liechtenstein, of the other part, to combat fraud and any other illegal activity to the detriment of their financial interests and to ensure exchange of information on tax matters is hereby approved on behalf of the European Union.

The text of the Agreement is attached to this Decision.

Article 2

The President of the Council is hereby authorised to designate the person empowered to effect the notification provided for in Article 41(2) of the Agreement on behalf of the European Union.

Article 3

This Decision shall be published in the Official Journal of the European Union .
