Montesquieu Fellows - Main contents
The Montesquieu Institute (MI) welcomes prominent researchers from Dutch and foreign universities who will contribute in fulfilling its research mission. With a fellowship these researchers contribute and share their knowledge with the Montesquieu Institute.
Contents
The fellows conduct research in the field of Dutch and/or European parliamentary history, as well as research on decision making within the European Union and its implementation and significance in the parliamentary systems of the member states. An example of such could be comparative research on European parliamentary systems and the study of the European Parliament.
While conducting their research the fellows are being able to enjoy the many facilities of the institute. The MI offers a quiet working space with access to the database of the affiliated Parliamentary Documentation Centre, University of Leiden. Furthermore, the extensive collections of the Royal library and the library of the Peace Palace are within walking distance.
The findings of the research will amongst others be published in the Montesquieu paper series, or on the website as an analysis/column.
