Fellowship Frank Hendriks - Main contents
As of 10 April 2012, the Montesquieu Institute welcomes Frank Hendriks as Montesquieu fellow. He is a professor of comparative governance at the Tilburg School of Politics and Public Administration of Tilburg University (Faculty of Law).
His research focuses on the shape and quality of democratic governance in city and state, on both national and international level. Different aspects of democratic governance - democratic leadership and citizenship, democratic reform and innovation, democratic decision-making and participation – will be deepened in his research.
At the institute he conducts research on multi-level democracy in Europe, specifically the shape and development of local and regional democracy and the impact of different state traditions in the domestic governance of the European Union.
