Parlamentarium welcomes two millionth visitor - Main contents
Parlamentarium, Parliament's visitors centre, welcomed its two millionth visitor on 11 July.
Austrian friends Alex Sturm, Thomas Varvier and Christoph Eisl were the two millionth to come to the centre, where they were greeted by Parliament President Antonio Tajani.
Parlamentarium has proved to be one of Brussels's most popular attractions since opening in October 2011. It is open to the public seven days a week and is free of charge. Its interactive permanent exhibition shows Parliament's work and explains the history of European integration in 24 languages.
The current temporary exhibition "State of deception: the power of Nazi propaganda" runs until 18 November.
Parliament also has similar visitors centres in Berlin, Ljubljana and Strasbourg.
