The latest H2020 biannual Work Programme (2016-2017) was adopted yesterday and is now available via the H2020 participant portal. This document contains detailed information on all actions and specific challenges, their scope and expected impact. It also identifies the topics covered by the different actions for the coming two years. Many of these actions are managed by the Research Executive Agency (REA).
This Work Programme offers a budget of almost €16 billion and it is based on extensive consultation and stakeholder involvement.
In line with Commissioner Moedas' strategic priorities, "Open Science, Open Innovation, Open to the World," the new Work Programme offers funding opportunities through a range of calls for proposals, public procurements and other actions covering nearly 600 topics. The programme's structure is a reflection of the overall flexibility of Horizon 2020 which focuses on the EU's long-term priorities and the most pressing societal challenges while allowing it to swiftly address emerging problems.
The Research Executive Agency (REA) is managing a large share of the H2020 actions:

the Space programme under ‘Industrial Leadership’.
